Rambling, cycling and riding

Kungsörsleden

Kungsörsleden is a 25-km-long footpath that goes through fertile agricultural land close to Lake Mälaren and passes oak pastures and beach meadows. Further south, the footpath goes through woods and passes the occasional farm. The path starts and ends at Kungsudden and you can ramble in whichever direction you like. Information folders on the footpath can be obtained from the tourist office.

Cycling

Kungsör has four cycle paths ranging from 14 – 33 km. The paths go through a
varied landscape along Lake Mälaren and through forest. Information folders on
the cycle paths can be obtained from the tourist office. Bicycles can be rented from Ekuddens Camping.

Riding

Drottning Kristinas (Queen Kristina’s) bridle path is about 3.5 km long and
passes through varied woodland scenery with culturally historic values from both the Bronze and Iron Ages.

Along the bridle path, which has sections for walking, trotting and galloping, there is a rich variety of flora and fauna that is presented on the information boards.

The bridle path starts at Kungsör’s Riding Club’s equestrian centre in Klämsbo and has two trails, one to the east and one to the west. Information folders can be obtained from the tourist office.
